nuke the data centers

COVID fucked up a lot of things. The one that gets swept under the rug is culture.

Something fundamentally changed — music, movies, TV, the way teens and kids and young adults interacted. The lockdown boxed people in their homes, permanently.

Nightclubs hardly exist. Nobody goes to the theatre. Kids don't hang out in front of the convenience store.

Damn shame. The 80's to 2019 was probably peak human life. Just enough tech to improve our lives, but still human enough to — well — want to connect with other humans.

Shut down all AI advancement. Nuke every data center and hit restart.

Take me back to MSN, Hotmail, Craigslist, Blackberries, and meeting at the bar instead of a fucking Zoom.
